Let's hear it for the BOY!!

This last week (Friday the 23rd of September) Peter and I had our 20 week ultrasound for the little one on its way. I've decided that my mothers intuition is extremely off, and from now on, I'll go with the opposite of what my body "feels." When I was pregnant with Elsje, I was 98% certain I was having a boy. OOPS....with this baby, I was 99% sure it was a girl. OOPS AGAIN! Peter and I are happy to announce that we will be welcoming a little BOY into our home in the coming months. I'm still getting over the shock that I'm carrying a boy....but peter was on board the second our son's privates JUMPED onto the screen. LOL. He wasn't shy at all, and the tech didn't even need to tell us...it was OBVIOUS. :)

I'm very thankful for the situation I find myself in with this baby. It took us 3 years and a crazy crazy diet to finally get Elsje, but this one came so easily, that I know there is a plan in store for our little family. People quite often take the negative road when I tell them about my baby situation...and it makes me a little sad. I'm very excited about whats in store, and I'm looking forward to the next stage in not only my life, but my family's life as well.
