Lemon Berry Muffins, a great breakfast giveaway (AKA Tausha's muffins)

So, now that I'm up early in the morning with Elsje, Im finding that muffins, or pancakes or any breakfast item can be so easy to make...so this week, I planned in my menus breakfast items so my cute honey won't starve all day. Now let me preface this with a story:
Yesterday I was telling my awesome friend Tausha about my undertaking of painting two rooms yesterday. I ended up not being able to do them during my babys nap, so I just wrote it off for that day. Low and behold cute Tausha shows up at my house with kid in tow (and mom in tow) and steals my baby for a few hours last night!!! I was able to get all the painting done!!
This morning I woke up and wanted to take her and her mom fresh homemade muffins. I had fresh blackberries, and fresh lemon, so I made Lemon Berry muffins. I found that taking breakfast to someone isn't as easy as I thought it would be, and people get going in the mornings earlier than I thought. Below I have assembled two different ways you can take muffins (or brownies or whatever treat you want) to a friend as a thank you, thinking of you, or just because.

First, this mode of delivery is for maybe a family or husband and wife...what have you. I assembled 4 muffins on a colorful plate. I then grabbed a small crafting tin I found at a local arts store. I put saran wrap inside the tin, and added a big dollop of the 'frosting'. I then added 4 blackberries  on top of the frosting so people would know what kind of muffins they were. 

Then, when I deliver it, I will put the small yellow lid on top of the blackberry/frosting mix. the lid was clear, so they could still see the blackberries. 

As far as a note, you could simply put it on top of the muffins, and wrap saran wrap around it.

Now, for an individual delivery: 

I have those clear "parfait" cups that fit a muffin quite nicely. I simply fill half the cup with shredded paper, put the muffin on top of that, then I add a special touch with a decorated clip, and a colorful piece of paper with a special note on it. 

 I find that these clips add a nice touch, without making the delivery too formal. 

I also like the "one" muffin idea cause then hopefully that person knows how special they are when they get a muffin just for themselves!!!

Also, a word to the wise....be warned that if you do take this or any morning delivery to someone, you may hear a comment that goes something like this: 

"Oh my goodness, that is SO nice of you! I can't believe you have already made muffins today, I don't even have a BRA on!
